To my commenters: I hit the wrong button this morning while cleaning up the huge amount of spam that comes in the comments, and many good comments got deleted. I appreciate your thoughts and I apologize for inadvertently deleting them.
Thank you very much for all the thoughtful blog posts you create. I am a big fan of your academic and blogging writings. Recently I listened to one of your podcast where you say that in this crisis we should stop the party but not production. I assume that what you mean by "the party" spans many social events such as sporting events. I was wondering whether you had a feel/data of how interconnected are industries. Say you stop all sporting events: wouldn't that affect the beer/hotdog industry? The spillover effects to other industries can be large. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us through this wonderful blog!
How is that even a feature? I blame blogspot and will continue to comment, but appreciate you owning the mistake. That sucks! I really like your blog and appreciate all the time you put into it.
Comments are welcome. Keep it short, polite, and on topic.
Thanks to a few abusers I am now moderating comments. I welcome thoughtful disagreement. I will block comments with insulting or abusive language. I'm also blocking totally inane comments. Try to make some sense. I am much more likely to allow critical comments if you have the honesty and courage to use your real name.
A real absent-minded genius! :)
ReplyDeleteHey, it happens. I'm sure you'll produce more stuff to comment on in the future. I enjoy all the replies and content. It's a treasure.
